Seeking Hosts for GRC 2021 Annual Meeting

The Governing Board of the Global Research Council (GRC) would like to invite national Research Councils to submit bids to host the 2021 Annual Meeting of the GRC.

Interested Research Councils should submit their bid to by 30 August 2019.

All organisations submitting bids should have participated in previous GRC Meetings. For the Annual Meeting, it is anticipated that there will be a host Research Council and a co-host Research Council. The host and co-host organisations for the 2021 Annual Meeting will each nominate one individual to serve on the 2020-2021 GRC International Steering Committee (ISC) that will be charged with developing the agenda for the 2021 GRC Annual Meeting.

The bid should include the following information:

  • A completed Application Form
  • A short (maximum 5 pages) narrative in support of the application. As part of this narrative, potential discussion topics for the Annual Meeting may be proposed.

The Governing Board of the GRC will consider all bids and announce the host and co-host of the 2021 GRC Annual Meeting in March 2020. The host of the Annual Meeting will be represented on the Programme Committee which will help to identify and select topics for the forthcoming Annual Meeting.
